Monilek Engineering Solutions
A full website redesign and rebuild for Monilek Group - transforming a flat corporate site into a structured, multi-level industrial platform with dedicated Technology, Service, and Market Segment pages, dynamic News, Events, Literature and Video sections, and a custom admin panel that lets the in-house team update every surface without touching code.
Project overview
Monilek Group is a long-standing industrial engineering business serving process, fluid-handling, and Parker store distribution segments. Their existing website was a flat brochureware site that no longer reflected the scale or seriousness of the business. We were brought in to redesign and rebuild it as a structured, multi-level industrial platform - with dedicated Technology, Service, and Market Segment pages, a clear dropdown navigation system, and a custom admin panel so the in-house team can keep News, Events, Literature, and Video Gallery sections fresh without going back to a developer.
The challenge
Industrial buyers don't navigate the way consumer audiences do. They arrive looking for a specific technology, market segment, or product line, and they decide whether to take a vendor seriously within seconds. The legacy site had none of that: navigation was shallow, content was static, and the architecture couldn't grow with the Group's offerings. The redesign had to bring Monilek to the level of leading global industrial brands - clear hierarchy across technologies and markets, fast SEO-friendly pages, and content workflows that scale as the team adds new products, customer segments, and case studies.
Discovery & strategy
We started by re-architecting Monilek's information hierarchy: industry segments, customer segments, services showcase, focus areas, technologies, and the Parker store as a distinct sub-brand. Each became its own structured page type in the CMS, so the navigation, the URL structure, and the SEO metadata are derived from the same source of truth. Wireframes and low-fidelity comps mapped how an industrial buyer moves from landing on a segment page to finding the right product line and reaching the right contact - without dead ends or duplicated content.
Design process
High-fidelity Figma covering desktop and mobile, with a clean, component-based design system aligned to Monilek's brand. The home page introduces a Focus section and Services Showcase to make the breadth of the business obvious above the fold. Industry and Customer Segment sections turn what was previously paragraph text into scannable, navigable surfaces. Every layout was designed to survive content edits - variable copy lengths, optional imagery, dynamic lists - so the admin panel can keep the site evolving without breaking the design.
Development execution
Built as a fully custom Next.js application with a Hono API layer and a relational database - no off-the-shelf CMS dependencies. The custom admin panel covers News & Events, Literature & Video Gallery, and every dynamic content block on the marketing surfaces, with secure update workflows and role-aware access. Infrastructure is codified in Terraform so environments are reproducible from day one. An Employee Login entry point integrates with Bayzat via a secure external redirect - within Bayzat's supported integration boundary - and on-page SEO (titles, meta descriptions, URL structure, heading hierarchy, alt text) is baked into every template rather than bolted on at the end.
